Sheppard turns to roll his eyes and make a face and he sees Kaylee's downcast gaze. He lets go of the broadcast button and puts the radio down for a moment.
He takes her face in his hands and gives her a charming smile. "Hey, I told you he'd make you cry, and now I'm going to have to shoot him," he says softly, before kissing her tenderly.
Then he's picking up his radio again. "You need to check your watch again, McKay," he all but growls into the thing. "Because it's been two hours since I stepped through that door into the tavern. Stay put and I will meet up with you as soon as I can. I'm in the middle of something that I can't just walk away from right now."
