He's used to having to hold it together, and he doesn't mind being the one to do so for her. He just holds her as she cries, murmuring soothing, nonsensical things and stroking her hair, veiled though it might be.
He doesn't ask anything, because it's not his place. Right now his sole purpose is to be strong for her.
